The Mel Fisher Maritime Museum is a 501 (c) (3) accredited, not-for-profit organization existing to research, interpret, and exhibit the maritime history of Florida and the Caribbean in ways that increase knowledge, enrich the spirit, and stimulate inquiry.

The museum is open 7 days a week.  

We open at 10am. Last ticket sold each day at 4pm.

We have made some modifications to ensure we operate safely for all guests and staff.

  • Social Distancing will be maintained at all times

  • Fully Accessible. Please note: Interior elevators are not operational;
    Interior Stair Chair Lift is operational

  • Ongoing sanitizing efforts during business hours

  • UV Air Disinfecting Units in gallery air conditioning

  • Regular cleaning in high volume touch-point areas
